Emily joined the ATI as Communications Manager in December 2018 and is responsible for creating content for the ATI’s publications including newsletters, website and social media.
Prior to this, Emily was part of the External Relations & Communications team at AgustaWestland (now Leonardo) where she was primarily responsible for heritage and photography. She also supported her colleagues in the UK and Italy with copywriting and editing, often writing copy to go with her photographs of latest-generation helicopters, events and programme milestones.
Emily’s undergraduate degree focused on the history of film and literature – she has always had a passion for discovering and telling stories. In 2014 she completed a Masters degree at the University of Dundee.
The achievement of which Emily is most proud is her coordination of the Westland centenary celebrations in 2015 which marked 100 years of aircraft production in Yeovil.
Outside work, Emily continues to be an avid photographer capturing images of the Beds and Herts countryside.
