This position offers the chance to contribute to the future of the UK aerospace sector and support the transition to sustainable aviation.

The successful candidate will gain a unique, industry-wide perspective, engaging with key stakeholders across aerospace and beyond. This role also provides an exceptional platform for building professional networks and developing expertise in programme delivery at a national level.

The Programme Coordinator will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of ATI’s funding programmes, including the Strategic Programme, SME Programme, and Non-CO2 Programme. We particularly encourage applications from individuals with experience in research and portfolio programme management, funding administration, or similar areas where you have successfully overseen the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex initiatives.

This role is not an engineering programme management position and does not involve technical or engineering responsibilities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of existing processes to identify areas for improvement, optimising programme efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implementation of Improvements: Coordinate the delivery of process improvements, ensuring these enhancements support ATI’s goals and provide measurable value to programme stakeholders.

  • Portfolio Analysis: Support portfolio management activities across all funding programmes, conducting analysis on areas of technology and preparing detailed reports.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage insights from portfolio data to inform programme strategy and decision-making, collaborating with the technology team for in-depth technological assessments.

Undertake any additional activities as directed by the line manager, contributing flexibly to ATI’s evolving programme delivery needs.

Over and above this, you will be expected to contribute to developing a high performing organisation. The ATI is a small, lean organisation. Staff are expected to support the continued development of the ATI by contributing to internal organisational, sustainability and cultural development projects. As such the ATI empowers individuals to see opportunities for change and deliver improvements outside the direct remit of their role.
