On Friday 8th December the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) and the University of Nottingham will be facilitating a workshop which will outline current European funding opportunities, focusing on the Clean Sky 7th call for proposals and the Horizon 2020 2018-2020 Work Programme.
As many organisations will know, European funding enables a much larger volume of strategic R&D to take place by exploiting additional funds, positions UK organisations in the supply chains of European primes, and facilitates collaborations that expand on capabilities available in the UK.
The event will cover the process and policies of applying for European funding, including expert guidance on writing the best proposal. Louise Mothersole, UK National Contact Point for Transport, along with Hitendra Hirani, EU Programme Manager at the Institute for Aerospace Technology (IAT) will be on hand to explain the process and offer their insights on how best to prepare and apply. Mark Jones, Sales Director from TQC Ltd, will also present his company’s perspective on winning the bid and taking part in a Clean Sky project.
The event will also include the opportunity for some attendees to try out 2-minute pitches with the aim of building consortiums. If you want to create and present a pitch, there is an option for you to sign up for it when registering for the event.
In addition, there will be an opportunity to hear the latest insights on Brexit and to gain an understanding of the ATI’s wider approach to international collaboration.
A special rate bedroom with breakfast the Breadsall Priory can be booked for the night of the 7th December. Please contact the Institute for Aerospace Technology for more details.
