ATI and FAC announce partnership agreement at FAC conference

The Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) and Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC) have today signed a collaborative partnership agreement. The agreement will facilitate enhanced collaboration between the two organisations for the benefit of the region’s aerospace sector.

Sophie Lane, Chief Relationships Officer, ATI said: “Formalising the partnership between the ATI and FAC strengthens our existing collaboration ensuring we maximise the opportunities to support the region’s aerospace innovators. Collaboration is a key enabler in our journey to Destination Zero as UK aerospace organisations of all sizes and the supply chain work collectively to realise the transition to ultra-efficient and zero-carbon technologies.”

Alan Fisher, CEO, FAC said: “The signing of this partnership agreement is a welcome next step in the collaborative working relationship between FAC and the ATI. The commitments included in the agreement will shape our joint activities to deliver knowledge sharing, events and strategic alignment which will support the aerospace community we represent in the South East.”

This agreement marks a further strengthening of relations between the ATI and the regional aerospace alliances. The ATI is seeking to agree similar partnerships with other regional and devolved administration aerospace organisations for the benefit of the entire UK sector. The partnership agreements aim to provide focus, structure and opportunities to deepen collaboration, creating opportunities to work more closely on developing capability, knowledge sharing and catalysing innovation.
