Stakeholder survey 2024 now open
ATI Chief Relationships Officer Sophie Lane reflects on feedback from the ATI’s first stakeholder survey and invites our network to complete the 2024 survey.
A little over a decade ago, the ATI was set up to strengthen the UK aerospace sector through funding and strategic direction. Last year we launched our first stakeholder engagement survey to hear from you about how we are doing and what more you would like to see.
This survey allowed us to tailor some of our activities over the past year and to provide more relevant information to our sector. Broadly your feedback fell into 3 areas:
- You wanted more clarity on our mission and the scope of our work.
- You wanted more visibility of the impact of the funding.
- You wanted more support for smaller businesses.
If you joined us at Farnborough Airshow then you would have seen a very different look and feel to previous years. This was a celebration of our sector, designed to showcase the strength and depth of our supply chain through the technology innovations being pioneered in UK. These themes were also brought out in Hub showcase events and in focused thought leadership campaigns. The competitiveness of our sector is critical to the ATI mission and we will continue to shape opportunities for our sector in partnership with others.
In October 2023 we reviewed our approach to our reporting and challenged ourselves to share more data in a more accessible way. We launched a new webpage dedicated to impact reporting and have continued to add more metrics as the data becomes available. We have also used our 10-year anniversary as an opportunity to bring case studies from across the sector to life. This commitment to transparency is a journey, and we will build on this qualitative and quantitative impact reporting in future.
We also launched the SME Programme in 2023 and a number of measures to improve support for smaller businesses. Whether it is through the weekly clinics provided by the ATI Hub or the partnerships with regional and national bodies, we have been more visible and accessible to smaller businesses and grown the understanding of the support we can provide.
These are just three examples of the measures we have taken as a result of your feedback and so it really does make a difference. We want to know the impact these measures have had and what more we can be doing going forward to help to strengthen our ecosystem, drive innovation and deliver the best technology for the benefit of our sector. Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Please click here to complete the survey no later than Friday 8th November 2024.
