Malcolm was appointed Corporate Development officer of the Aerospace Technology Institute in September 2014, with responsibility for relations with the UK Government and European institutions. Malcolm also oversees the Communications team, including press and media.
Previously, Malcolm was a civil servant in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills where he worked on a wide variety of economic issues, including almost nine years on aerospace questions.
Malcolm’s last major assignment before joining the ATI was on secondment to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as Consul-General in Düsseldorf and Head of UK Trade and Investment in Germany. He holds a MA from St Andrews University and a MBA from Imperial College.
