Tommy is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the ATI portfolio of technology projects. He works closely with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and Innovate UK, managing the various ATI Programme funding streams in order to maximise the economic benefit to the UK from investments. As a Change Manager, Tommy continues to drive programmes of change across the three stakeholder organisations, improving efficiency and workability for all stakeholders.
Tommy graduated from Imperial College London with a MEng Civil and Environmental Engineering, before starting his career in the oil industry. Tommy has travelled extensively during his career and has lived in 4 countries (Italy, Saudi Arabia, USA and UAE) and worked across 19 countries throughout the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and South/North America, on rigs in deserts, oceans and jungles.
The experience of working in such diverse and challenging environments meant that on his return to the UK, Tommy was well-equipped to earn a commission as a British Army Reserve Officer – he is currently a Light Infantry Platoon Commander.
Tommy loves keeping fit, running and painting – he is an avid oil painter in his spare time.
