About the role

The ATI is a small organisation where all ‘levels’ interact and work together to contribute to the thinking and delivery effort for the benefit of the UK aerospace sector.  The Delivery and Innovation team is responsible significant elements of the ATI programme and innovation agenda, including the Portfolio Management and the ATI Accelerator Programme.  The Delivery and Innovation Officer will be part of this impactful team providing project support to core and innovation initiatives of the ATI.

Responsibilities and Duties

Support to Innovation Manager:

  • Support the Innovation Manager designing solutions for the innovation ecosystem.
  • Support the Innovation Manager researching investment funds relevant to aerospace.
  • Review curriculum content from previous Accelerator cohorts, analyse the feedback from the alumni and prioritise content for future cohorts.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly surveys with our alumni of start-ups.
  • Compile regular performance reports on the accelerator and innovation strategy.
  • Carry out research on relevant accelerator programmes and other initiatives.

Support to the Strategic Portfolio Manager:

  • Supporting the SPM with portfolio analysis, data capture, and reporting and meeting preparation
  • Maintain currency of database, with weekly status reports to ATI leadership.
  • Support SPM with competition related activities, including inputs for alignment sessions with BEIS/IUK and applicant feedback process.
  • Co-ordinate general portfolio and programme updates with technology and strategy teams.

 

About you

  • Strong reporting skills.
  • Advanced experience of using Microsoft tools such Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge and experience of formal project management.
  • Ability to analyse and present information.
  • Project planning ability.
  • Ability to work effectively, remotely.
  • Ability to carry out research autonomously and report back on findings concisely and clearly
