The strategic research project will consist of approximately 100 experts from industry and academia looking at areas including the technical and commercial viability of a future zero-carbon emission commercial aircraft design; technology and industrialisation road maps; and assessments of the sustainability issues, the UK industrial capability, and market and economic viability.
