About this event

This bootcamp offers SMEs and startups in the aerospace supply chain or relevant adjacent sectors an opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview of the Aerospace Technology Institute’s (ATI) technology strategy and find out what funding and support mechanisms are available.

Attendees will have an opportunity to hear from aerospace industry leaders and the ATI Programme delivery team about the funding mechanisms, processes and assessment criteria. Specific questions about the ATI funding programmes, can be directed to competitions@ati.org.uk with further information also available here.

Led by the ATI Hub in collaboration with the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA) and Aerospace Wales (AW), the day will cover:

  • An overview of the ATI technology strategy and roadmaps.
  • An introduction to the ATI funding programmes and funding process.
  • A clinic on how to use the ATI Toolkit, including the market model and the aircraft trade calculator.

The afternoon will also offer an opportunity to deep dive into two technology areas with specialist ATI technologists, with potential topics including additive manufacturing, propulsion technologies, digital manufacturing or electric systems.

The day will finish with an option to tour the AMRC facilities and find out more about the AMRC’s work in aerospace and other sectors.
