Romina Davoudi
Romina joined the ATI in June 2022 as Head of Programme Delivery, overseeing the strategic and operational delivery of over £3.6 billion in UK aerospace R&D investment. She leads the delivery of the ATI Programme, helping ensure that UK aerospace innovation supports national Net Zero goals and maintains global competitiveness.
Romina has held senior leadership roles across Europe and the UK, including at the University of Nottingham, and has collaborated extensively with international partners in academia, government, and industry. She has extensive experience working with UK research councils, the European Commission, and funding organisations in the United States, developing strong partnerships that advance global research and innovation. In her current role, Romina leads cross-functional teams to manage and allocate funding effectively, driving technology development and competitiveness within the UK aerospace sector. She works closely with government bodies, industry stakeholders and research organisations to ensure programme objectives align with the ATI’s technology strategy and drive industrial growth.
She holds a BA in Modern Languages and is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. Romina has also completed executive leadership programmes, bringing over 15 years’ experience in research, innovation and strategic programme delivery to her role at the ATI.
