Andrew Brough
Andrew leads the ATI's Analytics & Economics capability, providing the evidence, insight and analysis that underpin the institute's strategy, funding and impact activities.
Andrew is Head of Analytics & Economics at the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI), where he is responsible for developing the institute’s analytical capability across aerospace markets, economics, technology strategy, portfolio management and supply chain competitiveness. He works closely with industry, government and research partners to provide the evidence base that informs the ATI’s strategic priorities and supports the long-term growth and competitiveness of the UK aerospace sector.
Prior to joining the ATI, Andrew held consulting and transformation roles at Siemens Advanta and Vendigital, advising clients on strategy, operations, supply chain performance and business transformation across aerospace and other industrial sectors. Andrew started his career at Babcock International, supporting major defence programmes and delivering synergy programmes across the Group. Through these roles, he has worked with organisations ranging from global OEMs to high-growth SMEs, helping them improve performance, resilience and long-term growth.
Andrew holds an MBA from the University of Bath and an MSc in Supply Chain Management from Strathclyde University. He is passionate about combining data, economics and strategic insight to support innovation, strengthen industrial competitiveness and maximise the value of aerospace investment for the UK.
