About this event
The FlyZero project – led by the UK’s Aerospace Technology Institute – is working to develop roadmaps for technology bricks critical to realising zero carbon emission commercial flight.
This event will focus on a key technology brick: aerostructures, and how zero-carbon architectures could present new challenges and opportunities compared to today’s product. It will also cover where aerospace can look to improve the sustainability of its operational processes. The purpose of the event is to share and discuss the challenges around developing these technology bricks to maturity across sectors, with the aim of:
- identifying UK capability and opportunities
- building the UK community around these technologies
- highlighting UK leaders in these technologies
- gaining insight to feed into the UK roadmaps.
