Our Executive Management Team (EMT) provides the leadership and strategic oversight of all aspects of the Institute’s activities and operations, and connects at senior level with our Government and industry partners.
Our Technology team is made up of engineers from across the aerospace industry and beyond. They engage closely with industry so that the ATI is at the cutting edge of technology and able to set the direction of UK aerospace in order to ensure its competitiveness.
Our Operations team are the backbone of the ATI. They ensure the ATI stays connected, has the best people and is a fiscally responsible organisation.
Our External Relations & Communication team’s remit includes communications, international engagement and government relations. They look for opportunities, both at home and internationally, to make sure the ATI is well-positioned to champion the UK’s technology and take on the challenges the UK aerospace industry is facing.
Our Strategy team brings market, supply chain and strategic insight on the aerospace sector. They maximise the ATI Programme’s competitiveness and strategic ability to support the needs of the sector in delivering breakthrough technology. The Strategy team also develops the ATI’s innovation strategy and encourages innovative thinking within the ATI and across the sector.
The Board reflects the range of stakeholders in UK aerospace with whom the Institute engages, and includes representation from the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy; major UK aerospace manufacturers; the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the UK supply chain; and academia and research organisations.
