The ADS Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Special Interest Group, in collaboration with the University of Sheffield AMRC and Composites UK, are pleased to invite you to their Q2 meeting focused on Materials for AAM featuring a full-day seminar with presentations from industry and research organisations on topics such as:
- New material applications
- Composites cost and scaling
- Sustainability and circularity
- Standards
- Batteries and electric motors
- Cabin interiors
Agenda and speakers
Angelo Emmi, Senior Technologist for Structures, Manufacturing and Materials at the Aerospace Technology Institute will be speaking on the ATI’s Materials and Manufacturing Technology Strategy Insight – innovation opportunities for the UK Aerospace sector.
Speakers are expected from Boeing, Bombardier, The Faraday Institution and many others.
The Special Interest Group (SIG) session will take place in the afternoon, followed by a tour of the AMRC Factory 2050 facilities, where the AMRC is running their COMPASS (Composites at Speed and Scale) research programme with Boeing.
This is a perfect opportunity to network with colleagues from across the AAM and materials communities.
