Beene is a composite materials Advanced Technologist with 4 years of experience in the R&D sector. She joined the ATI after two and a half years of working as a research engineer at the National Composites Centre (NCC) in 3D composites. Prior to joining the NCC, Beene completed her PhD in through thickness reinforcements at the University of Bristol. Her current professional interests are advanced manufacturing of aerostructures, tooling for composite structures and sustainable composites.
