Martin focuses on regional activities in the UK, including the strategically important relationships with the Regional Aerospace Associations, Devolved Governments, Mayoral Combined Authorities and local government.
Prior to joining the ATI, Martin was an officer within the Economic Development Team at South Gloucestershire Council, working closely with colleagues in the West of England Combined Authority. He’s had an extensive career in the aerospace sector working with industry throughout the world, predominantly in Europe, the US and Australia. His last position at Rolls-Royce was as Vice President for Sales and as a consultant he was the UK representative for the Netherlands Aerospace Group, the Dutch trade association.
Martin has been a Councillor at South Gloucestershire Council and for the last 12 years he’s been a Parish Councillor. At weekends he can be found supporting the mighty Bristol Bears rugby team or failing to improve his golf handicap.
