The Board reflects the range of stakeholders in UK aerospace with whom the Institute engages, and includes representation from the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy; major UK aerospace manufacturers; the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the UK supply chain; and academia and research organisations.

Simon joined Innovate UK in January 2013 from the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills.

Gavin is Director Quality at Spirit AeroSystems, previously Director of Engineering & Technology Development at Bombardier in Belfast.

Paul leads the BEIS Aerospace team that is responsible for working with industry to promote a healthy, productive aerospace sector.
