Adam joined the ATI as Head of Technology – Sustainability and Strategy in 2022. In this role, he coordinates ATI workstreams on low-carbon fuels, greenhouse gas abatement and environmental modelling. He is currently leading ATI work on a non-CO2 roadmap, pulling together inputs from across equipment manufacturers, airlines, airports, fuels companies, service providers and academia.
Before ATI, Adam held a number of senior positions in Rolls-Royce. Most recently, this was as Group Head of Environmental Technology leading their decarbonisation roadmap and product sustainability strategy. Other senior positions at this engine manufacturer include Head of Energy Technology and Group Head of Innovation.
He is a past Chair of Sustainable Aviation, a coalition of 40+ airports, airlines and aerospace companies providing leadership on aviation sustainability matters, nationally and internationally. In the early stages of his career, he was also a Partner in the international infrastructure consultancy Mott MacDonald undertaking project work in Europe, S America, Asia and Africa.
